The image words

Two digits give two sounds by the basic code, and two sounds make a word you can picture: 14 becomes the door, 99 the puppy. memoπ always uses the same word for a given pair from 00 to 99 — knowing these hundred once saves you the search for an image with every new sentence. In every word the carrying sounds are blue and the padding grey, so you can see which letters carry the two digits.

This is the English table, not a translation of the German one: 47 is the rock here and a skirt over there. The drawings are being made one by one; where none exists yet, the word carries the line alone.

You do not have to learn this table by heart: memoπ shows you each image word exactly when the next sentence needs it for the first time. How that works is on the method section.
